PACKAGED EMULSION EXPLOSIVES T13 PLANT

We have been manufacturing a variety of packaged emulsion explosives at our T13 plant launched in 2018, located based on our Tavantolgoi branch where our bulk emulsion T12 plant operates in Tsogttsetsii soum, Southgobi region. The T13 plant’s emulsion technology was acquired from the US-based Precision Blasting Services, Division of Intercontinental Development Corporation, Inc., the worldwide leader in explosives engineering. The packaged emulsion explosives are used for blasting works specifically in remotely located mine sites or mine areas where it is difficult to operate mobile manufacturing units to load bulk explosives, or small scale mining and infrastructure projects, open pit mines with high level water content, pre-splitting, and underground mining decline.Emulsion explosives are packaged in 16 types of formulations, including with hardeners, chemical gasifiers, glass or plastic microballs, with variable diameters between 25-220 mm, and supplied based on the rock characteristics and conditions of use required by the customers. The “ANDO” packaged emulsion explosives of the T13 plant are certified by the European Union CE and ERD of Canada, meeting the EU standard NEN-EN13631, does not emit any waste during the production process and provide safer technology, with production capacity of 6,000 tons of packaged emulsion explosives per year.
